Travieso Was Reds Top Pick Last Year

This year's draft was the first time in three years that the Reds did not use their first selection on a pitcher. The top pick last year, Nick Travieso has now made five starts at Dayton and is showing he belongs in single A at the age of nineteen.

Dayton took a lead when they rallied for five runs in the third inning and pulled away to an 8-1 win over Lansing at Fifth Third Field. The Dragons tied the score in the second inning when Jesse Winker led off with a double and scored on Joe Hudson's hit.
