Biography:
Jeff Salazar replaced Carlos Quentin on the 25-man roster just days before the All-Star break. Salazar had hit .301 for Tucson and was 5th tn the PCL with 63 runs scored at the time of the callup. He was sent down again shortly thereafter despite impressing on both offense and defense, and was recalled on August 15th to replace the injured Chad Tracy and give the Diamondbacks a legitimate fouth outfielder.
